OVERVIEW Breathe & Bloom Design operates this store, educational portal, and website—including all related information, content, features, tools, homeware products, workshop registrations, and creative services (the "Services"). The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to Breathe & Bloom Design, the Studio 'Breathe & Bloom Studio', and its educational division, 'The Artisan Academy'. Account & Order Information: Order history, items saved, customer service correspondence, and custom order specifications (such as custom gold vinyl decals or bespoke corporate settlement branding).
Payment & Transactional Data: Payment confirmation details, transaction amounts, credit balances, and administrative fee records managed through encrypted third-party processors (Shopify Payments, Stripe, Square POS). We do not store raw credit card numbers on our local servers.
Student & Guardian Enrolment Details: Full student name, preferred name/pronouns, date of birth/age, parent/guardian contact details, emergency contact persons, and Parent Helper verification details.
Health, Medical & Sensory Data (Sensitive Information): Under the Australian Privacy Principles, certain information is categorized as sensitive. We collect allergy disclosures, anaphylaxis action plans, asthma management details, skin sensitivities, and sensory processing preferences through our Student Enrolment & Medical Waiver.
NDIS Service Documentation: Participant reference details, support coordinator or plan manager contact information, sensory goals, and attendance records necessary to invoice and substantiate self-managed or plan-managed Sensory Art Mentoring sessions.
Technical & Device Information: IP address, device type, browser settings, and online interaction data collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies.

Third Parties & Representatives: From authorized plan managers, support coordinators, or parents/legal guardians acting on behalf of a participant.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION We use your information strictly for legitimate operational, educational, and safety purposes:

Fulfilling Orders & Drops: Crafting, personalizing, packing, and dispatching handcrafted Tasmanian timber homewares, seasonal made-to-order collections, and DIY eco-casting kits.
Workshop Safety & Individualized Support: Facilitating our low-sensory classroom environment, honouring our strict Nut-Aware facility policy, tailoring materials to sensory preferences, and administering emergency first aid if an incident occurs.
NDIS Mentoring Administration: Delivering customized sensory art mentoring, tracking progress milestones, and generating compliant invoices for plan managers or families.
Enrolment & Class Administration: Managing 12-seat capacity limits, processing term tuition, issuing illness credit vouchers, verifying Parent Helper tuition rebates, and managing event schedules.
Customer Support & Communications: Responding to inquiries, sending class reminders, sharing term schedule updates, and dispatching marketing newsletters (which you may opt out of at any time).
Legal & Compliance Obligations: Adhering to Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) guidelines, public liability insurance requirements, workplace health and safety laws, and tax accounting obligations.

HANDLING OF SENSITIVE HEALTH & CHILDREN'S DATA Unlike standard retail stores, The Artisan Academy provides specialized creative programs for children, neurodivergent youth, and homeschool learners.

Parental Consent: We never knowingly collect personal or medical information from children under 18 without explicit consent from a parent or legal guardian.
Strict Confidentiality: Sensitive medical details, anaphylaxis action plans, and sensory disclosures are held in strict confidence. Access is restricted solely to the studio founder and qualified instructional staff holding active Tasmanian WWVP registrations and current First Aid certifications.
Sole Purpose Use: Health and sensory information is utilized exclusively to maintain student safety, preserve low-sensory classroom integrity, and respond effectively in a medical emergency. It is never shared with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.

MEDIA, PHOTOGRAPHY & STUDENT PRIVACY During studio classes, documentary photos and short videos may be taken to celebrate student creativity and share studio life.

Close-Up Tactile Focus: Imagery focuses primarily on student hands, tactile techniques, raw materials, and finished artisan pieces.
Opt-Out Protection: Every parent or guardian has the right to opt out of media capture on the Student Enrolment & Medical Waiver. If you select the Media Opt-Out, your child and their artwork will not be photographed, filmed, or shared across any public or social media channel

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We disclose personal information only to trusted operational providers who assist us in delivering our Services:

Service Providers: Platforms that support our operations, including Shopify (e-commerce hosting), Stripe and Square POS (payment gateway processing), and Xero (accounting and financial records).
Logistics & Delivery: Australia Post and dedicated couriers who receive delivery names, addresses, and tracking contacts to fulfill physical shipments.

RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY & OVERSEAS TRANSFERS Our storefront is hosted by Shopify Inc. Personal information collected through the website is transmitted to, stored, and processed by Shopify on secure servers located in Australia, Canada, the United States, and other international jurisdictions.
